Screen Review:

Both versions received the same display. This is a 6.7-inch AMOLED matrix capable of updating the image at 120 Hz (which is still very rare on the market). It has a high resolution for its diagonal – 1440 x 3168 pixels or 3K.

Oppo Find X2 Screen Review

The matrix supports HDR10 and has a 100% color gamut according to the DCI-P3 standard. There are only two points that can upset technology champions in it.

Firstly, in the new model, Oppo abandoned the original retractable camera in favor of a front camera embedded in the display. Secondly, an optical sub-screen fingerprint sensor is used here, and for the money, I would like to see an ultrasound one.

Housing Review:

Oppo decided to add premium new items, so along with the version where the front and back panels are made of Gorilla Glass 6, smartphones with a ceramic cover will be available.

But this is not all – for the Pro version, a variant with a lid upholstered in genuine leather is offered. The Oppo Find X2 frame is made of aluminum, but the main chip is the screen geometry.

The lateral sides of the display abruptly go to the ends, which creates the so-called “waterfall” effect. It looks impressive, but such screens suffer from phantom clicks and are quite fragile.

Oppo Find X2 Review about CPU, memory, communications:

The flagship model also received the flagship chipset, which is one of the most powerful mobile processors in the world. This is a Snapdragon 865 capable of operating at a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz.

Together with the Adreno 650 video accelerator and a 120 Hz screen, this promises excellent smoothness of the interface and high-quality graphics in the most demanding games.

With the memory in smartphones, everything is beautiful, and everything is done according to the standards of the flagships of 2020. In order to somehow breed very similar versions, the regular Find X2 received a 256 GB drive, while the Pro has 512 GB of permanent memory, 12 GB of RAM in all versions. Unfortunately, there are no memory cards, but there are two SIM cards.

The quantity and quality of interfaces in Oppo Find X2 will suit almost everyone. There is a dual-band GPS, and NFC, and the latest Bluetooth. A version with 5G will be available for some markets.

The manufacturer is so generous that it even retained the beloved 3.5 mm audio jack, which almost no current flagship has.

Camera: Oppo Find X2 Review

In fact, Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro differ (except for memory) only in cameras. The first has a three-chamber main module. The 48 megapixel home (Sony IMX586) is equipped with laser autofocus and optical stabilization.

The second 13MP sensor is a telephoto capable of 5x hybrid zoom and, well, also with optical stabilization. The last camera is a 16-megapixel wide-angle. The smartphone is able to write video in 4K with 60 frames per second.

Oppo Find X2 Camera Review

Far more interesting is the photo and video capabilities of Find X2 Pro. So, the primary camera with the same resolution of 48 megapixels has a 1 / 1.43 “sensor, which hints at good photosensitivity, which is useful for evening or night shooting.

The televisions here are much more advanced – this is a periscope camera that can give 5x optical zoom (if this is not enough, then there is also a hybrid). Resolution “Shirikov” increased to 48 megapixels.

All this has allowed Pro-version to take first place in the prestigious DxOMark ratings of the photos and videos that make modern smartphones.

The same frontal that now just embedded in the upper left corner has a resolution of 32 megapixels and is able to write 4K video with 60 frames per second.

Battery: Oppo Find X2 Review:

Somewhat strange look autonomy smartphones. Curiously, the Oppo Find X2 battery differs from Find X2 Pro by as much as 60 mAh – 4200 versus 4260. The second strange thing is the lack of wireless charging, which is already the wrong tone for flagship smartphones in 2020.

But wired promises to be one of the fastest on the market. The power of a complete charger of 65 watts will allow from 0 to 100% to recharge the phone in 38 minutes.
