(Meizu Note 9 review and specifications)
Meizu Note 9 Review:
The once direct competitor of Xiaomi Meizu has not been trying to directly compete with the giant from the Middle Kingdom for a long time. And this is probably even good because the manufacturer manages to save the “face” of its own smartphones and produce completely unique things. For example, Meizu Zero, which should be the world’s first smartphone without connectors. The Chinese do not forget about more real phones. So, it became known that the Note line will be updated – the new Meizu Note 9 will receive an appearance that is relevant for 2019.
Meizu Note 9 release date:
Sources close to the manufacturers say the smartphone will be unveiled to the general public in mid-February. They will show it before the MWC 2019 exhibition. But the smartphone will go on sale no earlier than March-April. Usually, Meizu is in no hurry with the release of international versions of its smartphones, so that Meizu Note 9 may reach Russia by the summer of 2019.
The Note line has always been reasonably inexpensive and the affordability image will continue in the ninth generation. So, in the Chinese market, prices will start at $ 147.
A distinctive innovation in Meizu Note 9 will be its design. Meizu ignored bangs for a long time, so even the 2018 models could not boast of fashionable screens with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and ultra-thin bottom bezels. The novelty, however, should receive a 6.3-inch FullView display with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. By the way, judging by the spy photos, it will be much smaller than that of the direct competitor and bestseller Redmi Note 7. Another advantage of Meizu will be a narrow “chin”. Other models in this price segment cannot boast of such a thin bottom bezel.
Note 9 will receive a fresh processor from Qualcomm – Snapdragon 675. And again, a parallel with Redmi Note 7 arises, only the version with the “Pro” prefix. The Xiaomi smartphone received a weaker version of this processor – the 670th.
According to the latest Chinese fashion, the smartphone camera will be a tandem of two sensors, the main one of which will have a resolution of 48 MP. The trick is that the sensor is rumored to be Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1, which has a real resolution of 12MP. records are achieved with the help of software tweaks and super-sharpness from smartphone photos should not be expected.
It is also known that the smartphone will be equipped with a 4000 mAh capacious battery with fast charging, and the proprietary shell Flyme 8 will be based on Android 9.0 Pie.
