Huawei Y6 Pro Review: Release date and Specifications:

At the end of January 2019, Huawei introduced an update to one of its most budget phones, the Y6. The novelty will go on sale on February 23, and pre-orders will open on the 18th.

In Europe, as one of the priority markets for the Chinese, the novelty is most likely to appear among the first. The price of the only modification will be $ 135 (8.8 thousand rubles). A budget device for a Russian buyer will most likely cost the same money because the 2018 model now costs about the same.

Screen Review:

The Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) is the first Y smartphone to feature a FullView display with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. At 6.1 inches, it has a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. Of course, fonts will look loose at low dpi density, but in an inexpensive smartphone, this resolution is justified.

Housing Review:

In the latest fashion, the Y6 Pro (2019) has a body with minimal bezels. To the credit of the manufacturer, they did not use the outdated and annoying “bangs” here – a cutout for the teardrop-shaped front camera.

The rest of the case is quite budgetary – it is made of plastic, there is no fingerprint scanner, and the screen is covered with Chinese-made glass. The phone will be released in two colors – Amber Brown (brown) and Midnight Black (black). The brown case also received a textured leather finish.

Huawei Y6 Pro Review: Processor, memory, communications:

The Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) has a budget but a powerful MediaTek Helio A22 processor. It also runs a budget hit from Xiaomi – Redmi 6A.

The processor can be overclocked up to 2 GHz and works together with the PowerVR Rogue GE8300 video accelerator. The latter can hardly be called a solution for games.

There is enough memory for an affordable smartphone in the Y6 Pro (2019) – 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. If that’s not enough, then the phone supports microSD cards up to 512GB. Two SIM cards can work simultaneously with it.

Supported wireless interfaces of the smartphone again emphasize the status of the budget employee – single-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 4.2, and no NFC. But in place of the 3.5 mm audio jack, as well as the MicroUSB connector.

Camera Huawei Y6 Pro Review:

It’s usually hard to say anything about budget cameras, other than what it is. Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) is no exception. The main module is a single 13 Mp. Front camera – 8 MP.

Battery Huawei Y6 Pro Review:

Y6 Pro (2019) can hardly be called a long-liver – the battery has a capacity of only 3020 mAh, and Taiwanese processors are “famous” for their gluttony. However, the smartphone should be enough for a day. There is no fast charging here.
