iPhone 6 Plus REVIEW
The iPhone 6 Plus is a large 5.5-inch screen smartphone, but it’s so thin and light that it doesn’t bother. Inside, the iPhone 6 Plus is powered by the A8 processor, Apple’s second-generation mobile 64-bit processors, and is supported by the M8 motion coprocessor. I do not like to do a review with a short time of use, I try to use the device at least for a month before writing the text, but in this case, there were several, so I apologize for the delay in delivery of the post.
As is often the case with Apple products, it is not enough simply to compare the specs with its competitors, but rather the user experience, and for the iPhone 6 Plus, mine was excellent. Although not a device for everyone, thanks to its size and price, the iPhone 6 Plus is perfect for my personal taste. Since 2007, I’ve had all the iPhone models ever released, and this is the best of them all, surpassing even the iPhone 6 for the screen, battery and camera image stabilization. I have tested it for several months in all situations, with constant use in everyday life, and I can say without any exaggeration that it is the best smartphone I have ever used, at least to this day.
The iPhone 6 Plus weighs 172 grams, but honestly, in hand, it looks light, given its considerable size (158.1 mm × 77.8 mm). It is also very thin, with a thickness of 7.1 mm. On the left side, the volume buttons and the volume mute button or toggle the screen rotation option. On the right side, the nano-SIM slot and the new power button, which came out of the top as a matter of necessity as it would be impossible to reach with one hand.
Design-wise, there’s nothing to say about it, the rounded edges and the glass on the side make the iPhone 6 Plus comfortable to use, even though it’s in practice a very thin piece of metal, something essential for a device you most like. Will use during the day. But the only thing that stands out is the camera that stands out, but that’s hardly bothering, and besides having a precedent at Apple with the iPod Touch, it’s also the case with several competitors. As I do not recommend that you carry such an expensive smartphone without being properly protected by a case, this difference in thickness is no longer an issue. Even if you prefer to use the device without a case, the camera is protected by sapphire, so you can rest assured that it will not scratch, at least not under normal use.
Once you get used to using such a large device, even the 4.7-inch screen on iPhone 6 becomes small. The 4-inch screen on the iPhone 5s doesn’t even talk about it, and the tiny 3.5 ″ screen on the iPhone 4 looks like a toy. For those who like space like me, it’s no sacrifice to use such a large screen, quite the opposite, but the iPhone 6 Plus is not for everyone, and many users will already be fully satisfied with the iPhone 6 screen. , it has its advantages. With iPhone 6 Plus, you can rotate your home always to use your smartphone horizontally, if you prefer, and many apps are already optimized to take full advantage of the available space.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the text, another big difference between iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is optical image stabilization. The iPhone 6 Plus camera uses the A8 processor, M8 coprocessor and gyroscope to take great quality pictures, even in low light conditions. If you prefer to use flash, it has True Tone technology, so your photos look more natural in color.
IPhone 6 Plus CAMERA:
The 8-megapixel camera has a ƒ / 2.2 aperture 5-element lens and records Full HD video at 30 or 60 frames per second, slow motion at 120 or up to 240 frames per second, plus timelapse and panoramas with up to 43 megapixels. The 6 Plus also features a 1.2 megapixel HD front camera with ƒ / 2.2 aperture.
If you plan to buy the iPhone 6 Plus, it is noteworthy that it is impossible to use the device with one hand without having to appeal to the feature that Apple calls “reachability,” or “reachability.” This “reachability” brings content close to your fingers with two taps of the home button, something that once you get used to it, it’s hard to live without, and that makes 6 Plus easier to use than devices with smaller screens, but also too large to be used with one hand.
Maybe in an upcoming release, the concept might be improved so you can include some apps you use every day, letting you navigate the featured screen, or maybe even run another app in the space left over, but For now, it’s enough for you to click the tweet or Facebook post button, for example, and it makes a difference in practice.
Touch ID is another feature you get used to, it’s practically impossible to go back, and a great difference from Apple over Android smartphones, and only now with the Galaxy S6 seems to have found a competitor at the time. The same happens with the new iPads after you got used to Touching ID, without realizing I end up trying to use the feature when I am using the old models, which says a lot about the importance of the feature, something so simple but now it does — Part of your routine. Like the camera, the Touch ID button is also sapphire protected.
IPhone 6 Plus BATTERY TIMING:
The 2,915 mAh battery has a long life, reaching up to 24 hours of 3G talk time or up to 12 hours of internet browsing, according to Apple data, which always seems overdone. In practice, this means that even if you constantly use the device, the battery will probably last a full day. Interestingly, unlike the iPhone 5s that had different models depending on the region, the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 work with 4G from all regions, which certainly should greatly facilitate Apple’s logistics.
If you are looking for a big-screen smartphone, and money is not a key issue in your buying decision, iPhone 6 Plus is really a great option. I use smartphones from various systems. There are users who prefer Android, where we have great options on the market, but in terms of iOS, I believe we have never been as well served as now.
Ah, but you are finishing the review not to mention the famous case of the bent iPhones 6 Plus. Well, in fact, Apple has shown that bending the handsets is quite difficult, and yet it is willing to replace iPhones that have been traumatized, so this is not a problem for anyone considering buying.
Speaking of price, the iPhone 6 Plus is an expensive device even for those who have the option to buy abroad, but it pays off the investment for its quality of manufacture, screen, performance, and camera. In Brazil, the cost is much higher, especially in these high dollar times, and the iPhone 6 Plus costs $ 3,899 for the 16 GB version, 4,299 for the 64 GB version and 4,699 reais for the 128 GB version, all available in full color. Silver and gold ( with the white front ) or space gray ( with a black front ).
