(OnePlus 7 Pro review and specifications)
OnePlus 7 Pro review and specifications:
OnePlus had a very simple smartphone lineup and refresh cycle. In the spring, the next generation is presented, and in the fall – its modernized version with the “T” index. That was until 2019 when the OnePlus 7 Pro came out alongside the OnePlus 7. The latter is now a super-flagship, which has invested almost all the advanced technical solutions that the manufacturer has.
Price and release date in Russia OnePlus 7 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro was officially launched on May 14th. This was preceded by months of “leaks” from insiders and hints from the manufacturer. A little later, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G debuts with a Snapdragon X50 modem, the price for it is still unknown. Official deliveries of smartphones to Russia will begin this summer.

OnePlus 7 Pro Screen Review:
OnePlus 7 Pro received a completely different screen than the base “seven”. The display here is made as frameless as possible, with curved edges (yes, the solution resembles Samsung’s flagships).
The matrix itself in OnePlus is called Fluid AMOLED. The diagonal is 6.67 inches, the resolution is 1440 x 3120 pixels. This is the first non-gaming smartphone with a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz. That is, the picture on it looks much smoother than on competitors.
On top of that, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s display boasts a whopping 800 nits of brightness. As in the younger model, the fingerprint sensor is installed here under the screen and it works in 0.21 s. And yet, the display has no cutouts for the front camera, because it is located in a slide-out module.
The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, the back panel is also made of glass. The body frame is made of durable aluminum. A few words about the retractable front camera installed on the smartphone.
Many users do not trust this design, considering it unreliable and fragile. But as the manufacturer assures, the mechanism is designed for 300 thousand operations and has shock protection in case of falls.
However, it is not entirely clear what will happen to the camera if a grain of sand gets into the gap between the body and the module – it will jam or the abrasive will leave a deep scratch in the plastic covering the lens. The answer to this question will be given only by the experience of real use. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes in four colors – gray, blue, white, and gold.
Processor, memory, communications:
There is no reason to doubt the performance of the OnePlus 7 Pro because it runs on the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Adreno 640 video accelerator will “pull” absolutely any cool toy of 2019. By the way, the smartphone has a cooling system using a liquid system – a heat pipe.
A choice of three configurations of RAM and internal memory – 6/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB. Oddly enough, OnePlus decided not to expand the drive anymore, given the lack of a memory card. The tray can accommodate two Nano-SIM.
OnePlus has traditionally spared no interface for its smartphones. The OnePlus 7 Pro has accurate Dual GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and more. The smartphone does not have a 3.5 mm audio jack, all wired connections are assigned to the USB Type-C port.
“OnePlus has created a real photo monster,” comes to mind when you see the characteristics of the new product. And 7 Pro is very different in this sense from the usual “seven”. Thus, the main module consists of three sensors.
The main one is the same 48 megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with an aperture of f / 1.7. The second is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with an f / 2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom. The third sensor is a fashionable 16MP wide-angle.
The smartphone has an optical stabilization system. The high photo capabilities can be judged by the results of testing DxOMark. The specialists gave the photo module 111 points – 118 for a photo and 98 for a video.
The front camera in the OnePlus 7 Pro, which is located in a slide-out module, is exactly the same as that of the OnePlus 7. It is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an f / 2.0 aperture.
The autonomy of the OnePlus 7 Pro is slightly higher than that of the regular version. First, the battery capacity has increased to 4000mAh. Secondly, there is a proprietary 30W fast charging technology, which allows you to replenish the battery by 50% in just 20 minutes.
There is still no wireless charging in OnePlus.
